One Step Ahead of Ruin, 2023

In this series, Janaina Spada explores the point of view of a baby seal named Mar. Janaina’s biggest passion in life is fantasy and storytelling. With the urge to translate her passion and concerns about the neglect of marine life, they use a mix of watercolor and gouache to give their characters life; added to recycled elements, from plastic packages pieces, to frames.
