THROUGH THE WINDOWS

I like to watch the seasons change through the windows. I contemplate the beauty of
the change of nature and I am amazed to experience the 4 seasons in this beautiful country since in my country Panama we only have two, a long winter (very rainy) and a very short summer (extreme sun and heat).

I call this work through the windows, since looking through the windows at the change of seasons I discovered that it is similar to the stages of our lives and that we can perceive them through our senses. Each season of the year is a reflection of our world, full of emotions, experiences, and stories.

For this visual art project, I used the technique of digital painting and transfer. I wanted to present them like books and dioramas to recreate and give life to each representation of the seasons.

TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE

My two works are related to the seasons of the year and books since this story is based on a family that, for many generations, has owned a bookstore in a small town in France. The story focuses on two characters, a girl and her grandmother, who live above the bookstore and see how time passes. Also, in the many seasons in which the girl grows up and her grandmother ages, time goes on and does not stop. Seasons and weather change rapidly, and so do our lives.

I need to guide you to reflect that each moment is unique. We should try to enjoy the simple things like stopping and listening to the song of the birds, the smell of the flowers, savoring an ice cream, feeling the snow, the rain, the wind, and the sun expressing our feelings and sharing our emotions because time does not stop.
